DESCRIPTION: Casting Call at The Episcopal Church of Epiphany Adults of all ages are invited to audition for \"Off Broadway,\" a Southern comedy by Birmingham playwrights, twins David and Don Garrett. Tuesday, April 2; Thursday, April 4. 7:00-9:00 PM. Episcopal Church of the Epiphany, 1338 Montevallo Rd., Leeds, AL35094. No prepared monologues are needed. Show dates: May 31 & June 1; June 7 & 8. Synopsis: The play opens at the headquarters of the National Playwrights in NYC, where a panel of judges has just agreed on a winner. Judge Stanley Wayne, however, is elated when he learns that his old nemesis, diva Madeline Dupree, is to appear as the lead in a hometown production of the winning play, and begins sweet revenge by changing the winner to the worst play in the contest, resulting in a series of hilarious twists and turns.
