                        DESCRIPTION:In celebration of Earth Day, the City of Leeds invites residents, families, and local organizations to participate in the <strong>Leeds Earth Day Community Cleanup</strong> on <strong>Saturday, April 26, 2025</strong>. This year’s cleanup is scheduled the weekend after Easter to maximize community participation and ensure a fun, impactful day for all.

<strong>Event Details:</strong>
📍 <em>Check-In Location:</em> 8373 1st Avenue (empty field across from Kinetic)
🕣 <em>Check-In Time:</em> 8:30 a.m.
🕘 <em>Cleanup Time:</em> 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
🌧 <em>Rain or Shine</em>

Volunteers will be provided with <strong>gloves, pickers, safety vests, and trash bags</strong> to help clear trash, debris, and litter from around the city. The event is open to all ages, and everyone is encouraged to bring friends and family to help make a visible difference in our community.

Start your morning with <strong>breakfast biscuits generously sponsored by Chick-fil-A </strong>(while supplies last), and enjoy a chance to check out <strong>real police and fire vehicles</strong> on-site for a special community showcase.
