Parents,

We are so excited to tell you about something new happening at <a href="https://facebook.com/LeedsMiddleSchool" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Leeds Middle School</a> this school year - <a href="https://parentsquare.com/feeds/55289062" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Camp Leeds Middle</a>.

"Camp Leeds Middle is an initiative created to transform our school into a vibrant, inclusive place where every student and staff member feels a strong sense of belonging, takes ownership of their school and community, and grows in character, kindness, and inquisitiveness."

Today, all 6,7,8 grade students came to the gymnasium for an assembly - - they had no idea what was about to unfold! After an exciting video, the teachers handed out envelopes to each student. Inside the envelope, was a letter for the student to open and find out which "Lodge" they will belong to this school year: Trailblazers, Navigators, Guardians, and Seekers. The teachers are all split up, too! After a countdown, the students opened the envelopes and ran to one of the corners of the gym to meet the rest of their lodge!
