Art Gallery Reception: Trey Carmon

Trey Carmon was born in Florence, Al on October 27, 1977; signs of creativity were seen at an early age. After winning an art competition at Samford University his freshman year, he decided it was time to pursue Graphic Design at Auburn University where he received his Bachelor of Arts with a specialization in visual communication in 2001. Trey’s visceral process of creating abstract canvases that interact with each other and change ways to view the whole piece has been his passion for the last 20+ years. Trey has shown his art at the Daniel Day Gallery, Birmingham Art Crawl, ArtPlay at Work Play, and various other venues around the Greater Birmingham Area.
