Groundbreaking Ceremony Scheduled for New SpringHill Suites Hotel in Leeds, Alabama
Leeds, Alabama – [January 16th, 2025] – A groundbreaking ceremony is scheduled for Thursday, January 16 at 10:00 am to celebrate the start of construction on a new SpringHill Suites by Marriott in Leeds, Alabama. The hotel will be developed and managed by Jackson Hospitality Services and will be located next to the existing Hampton Inn off Rex Lake Road.
In case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be held indoors at the Hampton Inn located at 310 Rex Lake Road.

It will also create new jobs and contribute to the local economy.”
Cory Jackson Jr., President of Jackson Hospitality Services, expressed excitement about bringing the SpringHill Suites brand to Leeds. “This hotel will offer guests a comfortable and convenient stay experience with all the amenities they need, including spacious suites, free breakfast, and a fitness center.”
The SpringHill Suites Leeds is expected to open in 2026 and will feature 115 guest rooms, a spacious lobby, and a full-service bar. The lobby décor will display a Formula One race car on loan from the neighboring Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum.
