Leeds Celebrates Emma Terry Day
Mayor David Miller designated Thursday, August 19, 2021 as Emma Terry Day at the Leeds Area Chamber of Commerce Luncheon. This proclamation was presented on behalf of Emma being named Miss Alabama’s Outstanding Teen. Along with the Mayor’s proclamation, Congressman Gary Palmer presented Emma with a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition and then he gave an update on Washington affairs to a group of more than 75 in attendance.
Mum's Unique Consignment Boutique Ribbon Cutting
The City of Leeds and Leeds Area Chamber of Commerce cut the ribbon at Mum's Unique Consignment Boutique in celebration of their relocation to 1400 7th Court. This new location is just past the Post Office and Pioneer General Store & Antiques. Be sure to stop in to shop their huge inventory of clothing for the entire family, accessories, jewelry, purses, shoes, furniture, home decor as well as bridal and evening wear.
