Captains Needed for Leeds 1950s Walk! Our next planning meeting of Leeds Trails and Tours is at 4 pm on Thursday, December 5th at Leeds Jane Culbreth Library as we plan our next walk, Leeds 1950s Walking Tour, coming up in April 2025! We hope you will plan to be part of this exciting endeavor. If you would like to be involved as a Team Captain or any position on this year's team, we invite you to attend the December 5th meeting. The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe | Oaks & Ivy Theatre
Make your plans to attend the upcoming fall production of The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe scheduled for this week - December 3, 5, 6, and 7th at 7:00 pm. Tickets are available at GoFan.co for $8. Doors open at 6:30 pm.
About the play: The Oak & Ivy Theatre at Leeds High School presents the dramatization of C.S. Lewis' classic work which faithfully recreates the magic and mystery of Aslan, the great lion, his struggle with the White Witch, and the adventures of four children who inadvertently wander from an old wardrobe into the exciting, never-to-be-forgotten Narnia. The show stars freshman Brooklynn Ballenger as Lucy and senior Savannah Jones as the White Witch. There will also be a debut appearance of LHS faculty member, Larry Caffee, as Father Christmas!

Epiphany Hosts the Alzheimer / Dementia Caregiver Support Group for the Alzheimer’s Association each month. This is an open and free group for family members and friends who need support in managing the challenges of having a loved one with any form of dementia. Next stop, Number 17 Cherry Tree Lane! We are thrilled to announce that our spring production for Musical Mondays is Mary Poppins Jr.! Classes will be held Mondays from 5 pm-6:30 pm from January 6th through March 10th. Performances: March 14th- 16th. Tuition is $200 per child with a $25 discount for additional siblings. Shop at any retail or other establishment in Leeds between November 1 and December 25, 2024. Receipts from all businesses located in the City of Leeds are eligible. Online purchases are not eligible.
Email (diane.leedsareachamber@gmail.com) or drop off (7901 Parkway Drive) your receipts to get credit for your purchase. Be sure to write your name, phone #, and email address on the receipt.

All receipts for that week count toward eligibility for the Friday drawing. Prize winners will be notified after the drawing each Friday.
