Get ready to rev your engines for a cause that truly matters! The 6th Annual Drive Out ALS Car Show will take place on Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the front parking lot of The Shops of Grand River in Leeds. Hosted by Miss Hoover 2025, Emma Terry, in partnership with The Shops of Grand River, this incredible event will be a great day of cool cars, community, and compassion.

All types of vehicles including classic and contemporary cars, Jeeps, trucks, and motorcycles are invited to participate in this incredible outdoor charity event that welcomes everyone who enjoys cars, supports the cause, or seeks a great Saturday activity.

“The event holds a special place in my heart,” according to Emma Terry who serves as the event organizer and dedicated ALS supporter. “My Grandy spent his time restoring classic cars and attending cruise-ins until his ALS diagnosis. The event serves as my tribute to him while I continue my mission against ALS. Don’t worry about making plans for April 26—you’ve already got some!”

All proceeds benefit the ALS Association through Emma’s Steps for Stewart: Stomping Out ALS Community of Hope Fund. These funds directly support ALS patients and their families by helping provide critical equipment, supplies, and support services.

“Emma Terry is an ALS champion who has used her crown for the cause since she was just a kiddo—and now look at her, Miss Hoover herself!” said Melissa Enfinger, family friend and supporter.

The public knows Emma Terry well because of her frequent appearances in the spotlight. Throughout her pageant career, Emma Terry has earned titles including Miss Leeds Area Outstanding Teen 2020, Miss Alabama’s Outstanding Teen 2021, Miss UAB 2023 and Miss Jefferson County 2024 which enabled her to establish a purpose-driven platform. Through her advocacy work, Emma Terry has reached many people who live in Birmingham and throughout Alabama as she fights against ALS, a cause that is so dear to her heart. Leeds Mayor David Miller declared August 19 as Emma Terry Day in 2021 to honor her outstanding achievements.
