Come to the Leeds Jane Culbreth Library Monday, March 18th – Thursday, March 28th for our family-friendly 2-week exhibit spotlighting the achievements of the beloved English author and illustrator Beatrix Potter (1866-1943). You’ll see how Beatrix’s love of nature helped her develop her art and stories. Not only did she draw, paint, and write many successful children’s books, she engaged in scientific studies, and farming and purchased thousands of acres to conserve beautiful farmland. We believe you will enjoy our interactive activity stations, book collections, infographics about her life, and photographs.
