Back To School Bash & 1st Friday Family Movie Night was a Hit!
Vacation times are over, our local summer fun is coming to a close and school has officially begun for another great school year in historic Leeds, Alabama. Children and their families had a fabulous time this past Friday for our last downtown outdoor movie night and back to school bash. From yard games, face painting, kids crafts, balloons, goody bags, local vendors to spaghetti & meatballs, hot dogs, hamburgers, nachos, shaved ice treats and more plus the movie, it was another great evening of building community together.
We would like to thank all those who made this event possible and thank you to all who came out to enjoy the evening. Thank you to our local businesses who sponsored activities including Mills Pharmacies and The Wooden Anchor. Thank you to Three Earred Rabbit and Bargain Bee's for staying open later and to Leeds Redevelopment Authority, Leeds Area Chamber of Commerce and Leeds Jane Culbreth Library for hosting and sponsoring this event.
Let's Welcome CatCard EV Charging Stations to the City of Leeds
The Outlet Shops of Grand River announced the arrival of CatCard, LLC bringing EV Charging Stations to the mall. Leeds Area Chamber of Commerce and the City of Leeds welcomed this new business with a ribbon cutting on Friday.
Grand River continues to be at the forefront of shopping, dining and entertainment. There are so many reasons to stop in or travel to The Shops, but the newest and exciting endeavor is the installation of electric charging stations.
CatCard EV Charging Stations are located in the southeast corner of The Outlet Shops of Grand River next to I-20 and close to Rue 21 and Campus Spirit.
