We had a fun time at the Library’s Teen Tiny Art Night! The close-up photos make the Art look Big! However, we weren’t kidding when we said Tiny Art! These canvas were 2” x 2”!

Leeds Area Chamber of Commerce and the City of Leeds ribbon cutting is this Friday, August 5 to celebrate with CatCard the new EV charging stations at The Outlet Shops of Grand River (located at the southwest corner of the mall next to I20 near Rue 21 and Campus Spirit - 6200 Grand River Boulevard East). We want to welcome this new business to the City of Leeds, AL.
Knights of Columbus Charity Bingo Night
Mark your calendars for Bingo Night! Leeds Knights of Columbus Council 5597 announces a Charity Bingo night at Leeds Civic Center scheduled for Friday, August 5th and August 19th. Doors open at 5 pm and Bingo begins at 6 pm. This is a fundraiser for charity projects in the greater Leeds area.

She'll also bring some of her themed photo note card sets, which make great gifts for folks who like to send cards & notes through the mail. The books & cards will only be available during Sunday's reception.

Citizens can now sign up to receive message notifications whenever the city needs to get a message out such as road work and road closures PLUS you can get real-time answers to many questions or concerns by utilizing this service. This smart texting solutions works with regular SMS texting so no app or download needed. Text My Gov uses a mobile phone's regular messaging service as a simple way for the city to interact with the public and for citizens to relay information to the city. Text message rates do apply. New Tax Remit to Address Effective July 1
Attention Businesses Conducting Business in the City of Leeds: Effective July 1, 2022, the City of Leeds will have a new “remit to” address for businesses reporting sales/use, lodging and rental tax as well as occupational tax. This means that taxes generated during the month of June 2022 to be reported in July 2022 should be remitted to the new address.
Taxpayers should mail their remittance and any payment to: City of Leeds, Sales Tax Trust Account, P. O. Box 830725, Birmingham, AL 35283-0725.
Taxpayers may still bring their payments directly to City Hall at 1400 9th Street, Leeds, AL 35094 or pay online.
If you have any questions or concerns, you may send a portal message to the City of Leeds via the Online Services Portal accessible from the City’s website at www.LeedsAlabama.org or utilize the new Text My Gov text.
