Leeds Fire & Rescue wishes you a very Merry Christmas!
Santa’s 2023 visit to Leeds on Leeds Fire & Rescue firetruck is underway! Listen for the siren and watch for the flashing lights. The next night of Santa will be Thursday, December 21st. Beginning at 5:00 pm, Santa will be in Cahaba Hills, and all areas south (going towards 280) Greenbrier, Woodruff Farms(Woodruff Pkwy to top of the hill, turn around and back down, Southern Trace (Southern Trace Parkway, turn left onto Woodmere crossing, left onto Southern Trace Drive, right onto Southern Trace Parkway, then Cromer to Dulion to Hawks Place, then back out on Southern Trace Parkway), Cedar Rock, Stoneybrook, including Unali and 78 west of Rex Lake to Floyd Bradford Road. Leeds Police Department Spreads Holiday Cheer
The Leeds Police Department hosted Shop with a Cop this week. Officers had a great time shopping with a group of children at Walmart and then lunch at Mango's Cantina & Grill! Officers donate money and WoodmenLife is a donor to make this project possible. School counselors and the SRO's give suggestions on children to invite. Parents agree for their children to participate, drop them off at Walmart, and then, Shopping with a Cop begins!!!
LPD also hosted a great group of kids this week that are excited about law enforcement and Santa Claus came by for a tour!!!

It was a great week at the Leeds Senior Center! If you haven’t made it to the Senior Center in 2023, then put it on your “to-do” list for 2024.
