Be Set Free, Inc. celebrated their first anniversary of doing business in Leeds with an Open House last Friday. This is a non-profit counseling center who relocated to historic downtown Leeds last year. Owner, Angela Davis, is a Certified Grief Counselor, and her company provides Grief Therapy and Life Coaching to anyone who is struggling with a death, loss of a relationship, etc. Services are offered virtually, or in person. Shakespeare Acting Classes
Victoria Boyce teaches weekly acting classes at Leeds Theater and Arts Center on Tuesdays. Spring theme is Shakespeare, with showcase on April 29-30. Call 205-285-7635 to reserve your spot in class. Students 7-19 years old will learn how to read and perform Shakespeare’s comedies and tragedies along with how to perform a monologue and how to sword fight, all in a family friendly environment.
