City of Leeds Main Street City-Wide Celebration a Huge Success
The city-wide celebration on Tuesday to kick off Leeds Main Street was a huge success. Crowds of people enjoyed live music with several entertainers and bands, a host of food trucks and kids activities. Newly hired Executive Director, Amber Vines, was introduced by the Leeds Main Street committee members, Kristy Biddle and Tiffiany Ward, who will serve as President and Vice-President of the organization. Among others who shared a few words were Alabama Main Street President/State Coordinator Mary Helmer Wirth, Jasper Main Street Director, Mayor David Miller, State Senator Dan Roberts and Susan Debose who is running for election to the Alabama House of Representatives District 45. It was a fun-filled afternoon and evening.
