Ribbon Cutting at PUMA | The Outlet Shops of Grand River
The City of Leeds and Leeds Area Chamber of Commerce conducted a ribbon cutting at PUMA on Thursday in celebration of the opening of the new store at The Outlet Shops of Grand River. Mayor David Miller cut the ribbon wearing a pair of PUMA shoes. PUMA held their grand opening on Saturday. PUMA is located next to Bath & Body. Park between Polo Ralph Lauren and Michael Kors for easiest access. Be sure to stop in to see their apparel and shoe inventory (and some great prices)!

Leeds is Well Represented at the Miss Alabama Pageant this Week!
Pictured here is Miss Leeds Area 2023, Emma Wright. Other girls connected with Leeds, Alabama competing this year for the Miss Alabama title include Miss UAB 2023, Emma Terry, who served as Miss Alabama's Outstanding Teen 2021 and Miss Leeds Area's Outstanding Teen 2020-2021. Miss Hamilton, Chandler Mordecai, served as Miss Leeds Area 2022. 42 girls arrived on Sunday for a week long celebration and competition. The competition officially began on Wednesday evening at Samford University. Miss UAB 2023's Rising Star, Dylaney Pendergrass, participated in last night's opening ceremonies on her 8th birthday. She will be in 3rd grade at Leeds Elementary and is daughter of Lindsay and Jesse Pendergrass. Miss Alabama 2023 will be crowned on Saturday night. Let's cheer our Leeds girls on this week!

Leeds Arts Council is excited to announce auditions for our Fall production, Addams Family, The Musical, directed by Brandi McClaran.
