JACKSON HOSPITALITY SERVICES, INC. ANNOUNCES SPRINGHILL SUITES BY MARRIOTT COMING TO LEEDS

Leeds, Alabama – Jackson Hospitality Services, Inc., a leading hotel development and management company, announced plans today to build a new SpringHill Suites by Marriott in Leeds, Alabama. The hotel is expected to open in 2026 and will be located next to the existing Hampton Inn in Leeds located on Rex Lake Road.
“We are excited to bring the SpringHill Suites brand to the vibrant city of Leeds,” said Cory Jackson, President of Jackson Hospitality Services. “This new hotel will offer guests a convenient and stylish option for their stay, whether they are visiting for business, leisure, or to explore the local attractions.”
The SpringHill Suites Leeds will feature 115 spacious suites, each equipped with a microwave, refrigerator and free WI-FI. The hotel will also offer a variety of amenities, including:
A complimentary breakfast buffet
An enhanced outdoor patio experience
A lounge featuring appetizers and a variety of beverages
A fitness center
A business center
On-site laundry facilities
“The addition of the SpringHill Suites by Marriott is a significant development for the City of Leeds,” said Mayor David Miller. “This new hotel will not only create jobs and boost our economy, but it will also provide much-needed lodging options for visitors and travelers. We are thrilled to welcome Jackson Hospitality Services to our community and look forward to the opening of this new hotel.”
“I'd like to thank the City of Leeds and the Mayor, in particular, for being so helpful in providing some incentives to make this project possible. Without the City's help, we wouldn't be able to build this 21-million-dollar investment and employ the people we're going to employ. Plans are to break ground late this summer,” shared Jackson.

CAUTION: LARGE PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT AT LEEDS MEMORIAL PARK IS TEMPORARILY OUT OF SERVICE. The City of Leeds is aware of a needed repair on the large playground equipment. One of the large tube slides has broken. Playground equipment is temporarily closed. The City is working to correct the issue as soon as possible. Thank you for your due diligence in exercising caution near the playground equipment during this time.

In Honor of National Leap of Kindness Day, adr Business & Marketing Strategies is collecting eyeglasses for Leeds Lions Club!
If you have any old eyeglasses that you would like to donate, please contact Dona Bonnett at 256.345.3993 to arrange pickup or you can drop them off at the chamber office or in the night drop box outside the chamber office at 7901 Parkway Drive.
Please note that Dona Bonnett and adr Business & Marketing Strategies will be collecting eyeglasses through March 31, 2024 so there’s plenty of time to schedule a pickup and Leeds Lions Club accepts reading glasses as well as prescription glasses.
This is a great way to recycle those eyeglasses that you no longer need.
