Congratulations Elaina!Miss Leeds Area's Outstanding Teen Elaina Burt Named 2nd Runner Up in Miss Alabama's Outstanding Teen Competition
Congratulations Elaina! Miss Leeds Area's Outstanding Teen Elaina Burt was a preliminary talent winner. She tied for Social Impact Initiative Award and won 2nd Runner Up for Miss Alabama’s Outstanding Teen in last weekend's competition. Elaina was awarded $25,200 in scholarships.

Woohoo! Have you seen Chris Barentz around town painting storefronts!
You can see this painting at LA Salon, Flowers & Boutique across from the Depot at Livery Square and many other storefronts all over town. When you see those sunflowers painted by this talented artist right here in Leeds in support of Ukraine, it's just another example of how great the people of Leeds, Alabama are! We stand with Ukraine, we pray for Ukraine and we are proud of Leeds! Thank you Chris Barentz, for your hard work and the reminder to each of us to pray for the people in Ukraine!
Knights of Columbus Leeds Council 5597 Charity Bingo Winners
People are having a great time each month at Charity BINGO. These events are one of the main fundraisers for Knights of Columbus Leeds Council 5597 to fund their mission projects. Friday night was no different with 85 players in attendance! Kyle and Christin Mavin were our big winners. Kyle first won a $25 gift card to Laney’s. On the 4th game, he won $150. On the last game of the night, his wife, Christin, was one of three winners. They split that $315 with each getting $105. The next Charity BINGO is scheduled for Friday, March 18. Leeds City Schools Jump Rope Team 21-22
Hey Everyone Leeds! Join us in congratulating our Leeds City Schools Jump Rope Team 21-22 for such a great season! Our Jump Rope Team has been famous for years and everyone enjoys their performances. These students work very hard, travel to perform in various venues and have even been featured in television commercials. We're proud of you!

Shakespeare Acting Classes
Victoria Boyce teaches weekly acting classes at Leeds Theater and Arts Center on Tuesdays. Spring theme is Shakespeare, with showcase on April 29-30. Call 205-285-7635 to reserve your spot in class. Students 7-19 years old will learn how to read and perform Shakespeare’s comedies and tragedies along with how to perform a monologue and how to sword fight, all in a family friendly environment. Leeds Area Chamber Corporate Ambassadors Meeting March 16
Corporate Ambassadors for the Leeds Area Chamber of Commerce meet at Noon on the third Wednesday of each month. This month's meeting will be held at Leeds First United Methodist Church Family Life Center. Lunch is $10 and an RSVP is required.
In addition to covering Chamber business and assignments at each meeting, business building information is shared and each attendee is given a few moments to share information about themselves and their company.

Join the Leeds Area Chamber of Commerce for our March Chamber Luncheon. We are excited to announce that our guest speaker will be Ray Melick of 1819 News. Meeting is scheduled for 11:45 am on March 17 at Leeds First United Methodist Church Family Life Center located at 1189 6th Street. Lunch is $15 payable at the door (NOTE: Due to the cost of food and catering, our luncheon is now $15). Please make your reservations by Tuesday, March 15.

Join Workout Anytime and Rails & Ales for a St. Patty’s Day outdoor Yoga class!!
