What an exciting month of May already! End of the school year activities with awards days, graduations, parties and more mark the end of an awesome 2021-2022 school year and kids look forward to getting out of school for the summer. Leeds Splash Pad will open next Saturday, May 28 which will bring plenty of summer fun!
The 27th Annual Creek Bank Festival and Cruising the Creek Bank Charity Car Show organized by the Leeds Area Chamber of Commerce brought out record crowds of people, vendors, cars and more. The weather was absolutely perfect for a community festival! Almost 200 vendor spaces lined Leeds Memorial Park bringing vendors from all over the southeast this year while phenomenal entertainers graced our Creek Bank Stage with incredible live music all day long. Almost 400 cars, trucks and bikes filled the entrance of the park to raise money for Leeds Outreach and Backpack Buddies. Over $6k was raised for these charities.
This event would not have been possible without our sponsors, volunteers and everyone who came out to make this year's festival such a success.

Herbed Chicken Marsala
Smothered in low-calorie sauteed mushrooms and sun-dried tomatoes, this dish is both healthy and satisfying. A little bit of butter goes a long way in the sauce-just a touch adds creamy richness.
