Y'all. There just aren't words to express how thankful we are to the Lord and to each of you for how well the Run for Life went! Our "cup runs over" and we are humbled and thrilled to be able to continue to grow and serve the young ladies that come to us for help. Audition Notice!! Love to sing and dance? Love Christmas music? Come join the folks at Leeds Arts Council for auditions for their Christmas Extravaganza variety show on October 21 and 23 at 6:30 pm. LES Parents: Leeds Elementary will host a Family Night on Tuesday, October 22 from 5-7 PM. We will have lots of great things going on in the building. For our third-grade parents, please make plans to attend the 3rd Grade Literacy Act Meeting in the gym at 6 PM where we will give you lots of information regarding how the Literacy Act impacts your child and the steps, we are taking at school to ensure their success. We will also provide you with resources you can use at home. Our Book Fair will be open that night for families to shop and we will have art displayed around the building as well. Leeds Area Chamber of Commerce announces Downtown Trick or Treating 2024 is scheduled for Thursday, October 31. Downtown Trick or Treating provides a safe and fun event for all children in our area to participate in each year and all businesses in the greater Leeds area are encouraged to participate. As always, our Trick or Treating hours will be from 3- 5 PM. 2nd Annual City of Valor Veterans Day Pancake Breakfast 2024 | The Livery Event Center
Please join us for the second annual community-wide Veterans Day Pancake Breakfast. All are welcome! Pancakes will be cooked fresh with all the toppings along with a coffee bar served free to the public. Donations are not required, and any received will be directed to the American Legion Post 107 to support them in their many efforts to serve the local veterans and the local community. Leeds is proudly known as the City of Valor for being home to three Medal of Honor recipients. To pay tribute to our past and all those who have served, several local organizations and businesses are joining together to recognize all veterans and our community as a whole. In talking with Mrs. Pauline Street, we think Mr. Street would be proud that the program is still going strong and impressed by the numbers we serve. Last year, Leeds Outreach served more than 200 children.

We are taking pre-sale orders for ONE-pound bags of Mammoth whole halves or ONE-pound bags of broken pieces (great for baking cookies, no chopping).We have added salted, roasted cashews for a treat this year.
