Leeds Theatre Family!
Here is a neat way to support Leeds Arts Council and let everyone know about the hidden gem right in the heart of downtown Leeds. BroadwayWorld has opened the nominations for their regional awards. You may nominate any of our produced shows, actors, or directors. You register your email address and fill in your selections for each category. All of our actors participate in our shows on a volunteer basis and this is a fantastic opportunity to show appreciation. Here are the shows that were produced in the allowable time frame:
“Arsenic and Old Lace “
Directed by Zach Skaggs
Christmas Extravaganza (cabaret)
Directed by Brandi McClaran
“She Loves Me”
Directed by Brandi McClaran
“Sabrina Fair”
Directed by Nell Richardson
“Something Rotten”
Directed by Olivia Solieau
Criteria and voting period: You will get a confirmation email and a notification when voting opens.
The 2023 Regional Awards honor productions which had their first performance between October 1, 2022, through September 30, 2023. Our editors have set the categories and now YOU get to nominate and vote for your favorites! Nominations are reader-submitted and will be open through October 31.
After the nomination period ends, BroadwayWorld's editors will proof the list for eligibility and errors, then voting will begin in early November and run through December 31. Winners will be announced in January.

Thank you to Police Chief Paul Irwin. Chief Irwin joined us for lunch this past Wednesday and then spent time answering questions. It is always a pleasure to have him, and we are thankful and appreciative for all that he and our police are doing for our City. Also, a big “thank you” to Leslie Rutledge from The Wooden Anchor. She does a great job of bringing out the artist in us. With her help, we are getting ready for the holiday season. If you’ve not had a chance to check out our Senior Center, this is the perfect time. Workout Anytime Leeds 9/11 Stair Climb

We honored the heroes who sacrificed their lives on 9/11 by completing their brave climb. We remember the lives lost and the families who still feel the pain of losing their loved ones. We locked arms as a community and remembered 9/11 together. We will never forget this day, but we will also never forget the compassion and sheer bravery that people showed on 9/11/2001. Thank you to everyone who contributed to our 9/11 Stair Climb Challenge and who helped make our event such a success! We were able to raise over $1,200 and counting for the Leeds Fire and Leeds Police Department ? We could not have done with without the support of our members and community! Watch the Live video to see who won prizes on the Workout Anytime Facebook page. ???‍? Workout Anytime Leeds | Facebook
