Awards Given for Bike Décor at Leeds Kiddie Day Parade
Children and their families had a great time at the 1st Annual Kiddie Day Parade on Saturday at Leeds Memorial Park. This was a special parade event where anyone regardless of age or abilities could walk, ride or roll. Bicycles and tricycles were decorated to enter their rides in the contest for first, second and third place trophies. Casey Parsons with Guild Mortgage, Tina Poe with Exit Realty and Shandi White with Stratford Realty gave out goodies while Leeds Fire & Rescue were on hand with Sparky and the fire truck for photo ops and to participate in the parade. Trophies were awarded as follows: First Place - Esmeralda Tomas, Second Place - Kimbell Kruse and Third Place - Elmer Gonzalez. This event was sponsored by Leeds Area Chamber of Commerce. Leeds Clean Up Day was a Huge Success
Thank you, Leeds, for showing up! Leeds City Clean Up on Saturday brought a great crowd to clean up streets all over the city. 1.16 tons of trash was picked up. Let's all work together to keep Leeds green and clean! Please don't throw your trash out on our streets!
Everyone at the Chamber luncheon really enjoyed the Leeds Jump Rope Team's performance!! They are awesome!!!

As we work hard to continue to provide weekend food for our buddies until the end of the school year, here we are already looking forward to next year. This is why we’re already planning for our Rummage Sale in July!
If you would like to donate gently used clothing, housewares, furniture, etc. we will welcome the items with open arms! Donations collected over the next three months can be dropped off at the church (Family Life Center) the week prior - July 24 - 28!

I am thrilled to announce that I am partnering with The Outlet Shops of Grand River in Leeds to host the Drive Out ALS Cruise In!
It has been such a rewarding experience to organize this event and see how it impacts the ALS community. It is also special to me because my Grandy loved participating in car shows and cruise-ins before ALS. In fact, I went with him to his last World of Wheels where he showed his award-winning 1963 Chevy Impala Super Sport.
This is just another way for me to honor him and his ongoing fight against this terrible disease. Don’t worry about making plans on May 13th because you’ve already got some! See you there from 11 am-2 pm!

7th Annual Cruising the Creek Bank Car Show
